# The Fart App! Privacy Policy Last updated: June 5, 2026 The Fart App! is a soundboard, timer, alarm, haptic feedback, Shake to Fart, and custom sound recording app from SpaceSocks Studios. This policy explains what data is handled by the app and by third-party services used for purchases and optional rewarded ads. ## Data We Do Not Collect Directly The app does not require an account. SpaceSocks Studios does not operate a separate backend for this app and does not directly collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, precise location, or user-generated recordings. Custom sounds recorded in the app are stored on your device. We do not upload those recordings to our servers. ## Permissions The app may ask for microphone access if you choose to record a custom fart sound. The microphone is used only for recording the sound you request. The app may ask for notification permission when you use timers, alarms, reminders, or background/random fart features. Notifications are scheduled by the device operating system. The app may ask for motion access if you use Shake to Fart. Motion data is used on device to detect a shake gesture and is not sent to SpaceSocks Studios. The app may ask for permission to track if you choose to watch rewarded ads and the platform requires App Tracking Transparency consent. You can allow or deny this permission in iOS Settings. ## Purchases Premium purchases and restore-purchase checks are handled through Apple and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may receive purchase history, product identifiers, app instance identifiers, device/app information, and diagnostics needed to provide purchase functionality. ## Rewarded Ads The app uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to show optional rewarded ads after the free trial is used. Google may collect data such as device identifiers, advertising data, coarse location, app interaction data, and diagnostics for advertising, fraud prevention, analytics, and ad delivery. If you deny tracking permission, ads may still be shown using limited or non-personalized signals.
